The Historic Park of Villa Durazzo Pallavicini, has been managed since 2016 by the Temporary Association of Enterprises (A.T.I.) composed of:
The ATI, which was awarded the municipal concession notice, will be responsible for 15 years for the routine maintenance, management of the ticket office and cultural events in the Park itself.
PARK MANAGEMENT
Arch. Silvana Ghigino
Curator and Director of the Park is Silvana Ghigino, an architect and landscape architect who has been involved in various capacities with the property for over forty years.
Lecturer of the Historic Garden Restoration Course at the Faculty of Architecture of Genoa (DAD) and address professor at the Ligustica Academy of Fine Arts for the School of Decoration.
Together with architect Fabio Calvi, over time she has worked on several historic parks including:
- Villa Serra Park in Comago,
- Prince Doria's Garden in Genoa,
- Park of Villa Rocca in Chiavari
The great love of her professional life is the Villa Durazzo Pallavicini Park in Pegli, which sees her engaged every day in a' global action, as
Director, designer but also gardener, conservationist and enhancer
of all those historical and intimate aspects that make this Park a true work of art.
A scholar of philosophical and esoteric themes, a passion developed over time thanks to the solicitations that came from the Park, she personally accompanies visitors to discover the esoteric-Masonic meanings that Marquis Ignazio Pallavicini and his architect Michele Canzio sowed on the nine hectares of land.
He also conducts specialized tours within the park dedicated to the world of plants and the arts.
Anyone entering Villa Pallavicini, keep your eyes open because you may spot the Director in one of her many activities in the Park!
