SCENIC TOUR

The historical garden of V.D.P was realized between 1840 and 1846 by the marquis Pallavicini and his scenographer friend Canzio. The garden is structured as a theatrical play, divided into acts and scenes, each one made up of scenic monuments and historical plants. This tour provides a guided tour of the complete theatrical path, excluding the grottoes.

HISTORICAL CAMELIAS’ COLLECTION GUIDED TOUR

The garden hosts the biggest collection of Camelias in Italy, started by the marquis in 1846. The Camelia avenue, almost 180m long, blossoms between the months of January and April. Specialized tour guides take care of this very peculiar kind of tour also focusing on the vision of monumental trees.

The Sceneries of the garden are composed by monuments that vary from a classical style to a Neo-Gothic one with paintings and stuccos, representing the sophistication of the time. This tour unveils the authors and the finesse of the decoration inside the whole park, starting from the green living room inside the master palace.

ESOTERIC-MASONIC MEETINGS WITH THE EXECUTIVE MANAGER

When in 1846 the Marquis Pallavicini and the scenographer Canzio decided to build this garden, they were able to hide, right in front of everyone’s eyes, non-other than an initiation path. After 30years of studies this path has been unveiled to the eyes of those who want to understand it.
